She became one of the richest and most powerful women in the United States.

Winfrey moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the age of six to live with her mother.

In her early teens, she was sent to live with her father in Nashville, which had a positive impact on her life.

At the age of 19, Winfrey became a news anchor for local television station CBS.

After graduating from Tennessee State University in 1976, he became a reporter and anchor for the ABC news agency in Baltimore, Maryland.
