Coming to us from the fight city of Philadelphia, WWE's Extreme Rules have literally

left a lot of black spots and bruises around the Wells Fargo Center.

After a few years when the show wasn't as "extreme" as its name suggests, this show is much more steeped in the tradition of brutal action.

The fight featured many gunfights since the heyday of ECW. Philly is NOT the city of brotherly love tonight.

The fast-paced action we've seen in RAW and SmackDown is scaled up just a level or two in Extreme Rules,

and that's what makes this show fly. WWE has progressed slowly since Triple H

took creative power, and it really shows in the main live events.

It was a night of fire and fury, but most of all it was a lot of fun.
