A video of the reunion has been viewed more than 7 million times on Twitter.

- Fox joined Back to the Future after production began, with Lloyd shooting scenes with Marty McFly original actor Eric Stoltz. Director Robert Zemeckis realized that Stoltz was not suitable for the role, so Fox was selected and production had to re-shoot the scene.
“I don’t know Michael other than hearing from him,” Lloyd said at NYCC (via Uproxx). “And I feel like it’s just been six weeks and now I have to do it again? There’s immediate chemistry, as they say.”
Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in late 1990, and he told the NYFCC audience that Lloyd had always been there and supported him through the years.
“Parkinson’s is a gift I continue to receive — but it’s a gift and I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” Fox said. “People like Chris have always been there for me, and so have many of you. It’s not about what I have, it’s about what I’ve been given – a voice to do this and help people.”
